Course Description

Welcome to SWC 613 – Doctoral Research and Writing I at Ebed-Melech University! This application-centered course is designed to support you in implementing and advancing your doctoral project, based on the proposal and research you developed in foundational courses. You will refine your project plan, manage milestones, and engage in practical applications that align your work with academic standards and faith-based principles.

Course Outcomes

  1. Implement a Detailed Project Plan: Apply your pre-developed project proposal through a structured timeline that guides each step of the project, from development to execution.
  2. Advance Your Doctoral Project: Make tangible progress on your project’s key components, including data collection, content creation, or pilot testing, as applicable to your project’s nature.
  3. Manage Project Milestones and Adjustments: Track progress on your timeline, adapt milestones based on project needs, and document solutions to challenges encountered.
  4. Apply Practical Knowledge for Project Execution: Utilize tools and resources specific to your project, such as publishing platforms, nonprofit setup, or other business logistics.
  5. Assess and Document Project Impact: Reflect on how your project serves your intended community or contributes to your field, documenting both academic and faith-based impacts.
